The "Sofia Befon" Indoor Sports Hall in Palaio Faliro is a modern multi-purpose sports facility with a capacity of 1,204 seats, used for gymnastics, basketball, volleyball and handball. Inaugurated in 2017 by the President of the Republic and fully funded by the Region of Attica, it stands as the most significant sports facility on the Palaio Faliro seafront. We undertook the envelope of the building's distinctive curved roof using a standing seam system in natural stucco aluminium finish, addressing the particular challenge of fabricating curved sheets in three sections joined by aluminium welding — ensuring absolute weathertightness and a seamless aesthetic line across the entire roof surface.
