Trapezoidal Steel Sheets
Trapezoidal profiles are structural cross-sections defined by a shape with two parallel sides (top and bottom) connected by angled, non-perpendicular lateral faces — essentially a rectangle with tapered or sloped sides. The trapezoidal form is common in sheet metal roofing and cladding.
With a variety of geometries and thicknesses, trapezoidal profile sheets can lead to ideal solutions depending on the needs of the project:
- either replace the purlins (load-bearing) and be an essential part of the steel structure, or
- they are used for architectural purposes (roof, wall, façade installation, etc.)
