The “D. Daskalopoulos Art Building” of the Athens College constitutes an emblematic work of cultural architecture, where contemporary artistic expression meets technical innovation at the level of the building envelope. Within this project, we undertook the implementation of a complex façade system in variable expanded / deployé metal, contributing to the creation of a dynamic, semi-transparent architectural skin with shifting geometry and light-responsive behavior. The high complexity of the system and the stringent installation precision requirements were addressed through specialized expertise and full control over detailing, ensuring a result that reinforces the building’s identity as a space for art, creation, and contemporary architectural expression.
