ISAP Railway Station — Faliro

Faliro is one of the most historic stations on Line 1, located at kilometre 2.114 from Piraeus and serving the district of Neo Faliro. The first stop at Faliro dates back to 1869, when the Athens-Piraeus Railway first began operations, making it one of the oldest railway stations in Greece. The station's platform canopy is a striking architectural feature in its own right, its gracefully curved profile evoking the outstretched wings of a seagull in flight — a fitting tribute to the coastal character of the area. As part of the station's infrastructure refurbishment and upgrade, we undertook the roofing of this distinctive canopy using a trapezoidal sheet system, delivering a solution combining high durability, excellent weatherproofing and a contemporary aesthetic — befitting a station with such a rich and longstanding history.
