The Benaki Museum's Cultural Centre is located at 138 Pireos Street, one of the key development axes of modern Athens. The building covers a total area of 8,200 sq.m., with 2,800 sq.m. of underground spaces and an 850 sq.m. internal courtyard, while the exhibition spaces span 3,000 sq.m. The architectural renovation preserved the original structure while adding an additional floor, with the central courtyard serving as the heart of the complex — hosting open-air exhibitions, concerts and performances. As part of the building's upgrade works, we undertook the roofing using a standing seam system, delivering a high-durability, weatherproof solution befitting a cultural centre of international standing.
