Arsakeio Megaro

The iconic Arsakeio Megaro in central Athens, a historic building of significant cultural and architectural value, is being redefined today as a contemporary urban destination hosting food hall functions, bridging the city’s past with its modern everyday life. Within the scope of the restoration and envelope upgrade works, we undertook the application of a traditional titanium zinc (zinc) cladding system, a material renowned for its durability and timeless aesthetic quality. The use of zinc plays a crucial role in preserving the building’s historic character while simultaneously delivering modern technical performance, excellent resistance to weathering, and a natural patina process that enhances the materiality of the façade over time. Through absolute installation precision and a deep understanding of the requirements of a heritage structure, we contributed to the renewal of one of Athens’ most important architectural ensembles, returning it to the contemporary city with respect and technical excellence.
