Olympic Tennis Centre
- OAKA, Marousi, Attica
The Olympic Tennis Centre is an integral part of the Athens Olympic Sports Complex, covering a total area of 67,500 sq.m. It comprises a main stadium seating 8,600 spectators, two semi-final courts, seven auxiliary courts and six training courts. Completed in February 2004 and officially opened on 2 August 2004, it hosted the tennis events of the Athens Olympic Games, with all 16 courts featuring the DecoTurf cushioned acrylic surface — the same used at the US Open Grand Slam. As part of this landmark Olympic project, we undertook the facade cladding of the facility's buildings using aluminium trapezoidal sheets, delivering a solution that meets the high aesthetic and functional demands of a venue of international standing.
